THE PEER POSITION NETWORK (PPN)

PURPOSE:  Community of Practice-sharing Best Practices and principles.  We respect confidentiality within the group (trust) Knowledge sharing, validation, support each other, stay grounded in peer work principles/core values but stay open to interpretation from different environments (fluid), resource sharing, educational opportunities, community mobilization, advocates, self-care, helps compassion fatigue, bring about awareness and change and capture it.  "Normalize and humanize".  Benefit to peers in community as group foster relationship building; mentoring opportunity with new peer workers.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:  Stay grounded and connected to Best Principles in peer work.

MEMBERSHIP:  Peer workers employed by an agency in the province of Ontario.

ATTENDANCE:  Attending regularly is strongly encouraged. 

MEETINGS:  All meetings are now being held online via Zoom until further notice
