PURPOSE:  A network focused on sharing best principles for formalized peer support positions, including the supervision and management of these roles.  The network will work to problem solve and provide solutions with one another, yet also highlight and encourage areas for advocacy at the systems level.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:  The network provides direct support to one another and will also act as a working group to create and enhance best practices for peer positions in their workplaces.  The network will encourage and support communication in all areas from upper management to peer positions.  The network will encourage and support flexibility in the peer's work schedule to allow their attendance at the Peer Position Network.  The network members will connect with the peers to debrief the network meetings.  The Network members will support ongoing information exchange and documentation that pertains to the newly evolving sustainable peer initiative.  The Network members will remain dedicated to striving for flexibility in work environments to support their employee's recovery/wellness while balancing their work responsibilities.

MEMBERSHIP:  All supervisors, leaders and/or Managers in the province of Ontario who support peer positions within mental health and substance use services.

ATTENDANCE:  All members are encouraged to attend regularly

MEETINGS:  All meetings are now being held online via Zoom until further notice
