TEACH-CheckPoint

CheckPoint is:

  • A weekly drop-in peer support group

  • Facilitated by people with similar experiences who are managing their own personal journey of recovery

  • Open to anyone who feels they could benefit from peer support in a group setting

  • Runs all year around (except Stat Holidays)

  • One-to-one peer support available on site prior to/after groups

Supported Training and Rehabilitation in Diverse Environments (STRIDE)

  • Workshops (Pre-vocational life skills, WRAP, PeerZone)

Several workshops are offered during the year in both North and South Halton.  Flyers are distributed internally and externally to community partners one month prior to start of workshop.  Participants may register when flyers have been distributed.

Just Be You, Youth drop-in
Support & Housing-Halton

Just Be You is a youth led group providing social rec and peer support for ages 15-25, experiencing mental health and/or addictions concerns.  This program allows young people to get connected with others in a fun, safe, laid-back environment.
